Allstate and National Organizations for Youth Safety (NOYS) have joined forces to create a petition urging Congress to pass legislation prohibiting texting while driving. Texting while driving is one of the most serious distractions a driver can face - one recent study shows that it can increase the risk of a crash by up to 23 times.  Sign the petition now to encourage Congress to take active measures to prevent distracted driving.

Allstate Holiday Safety Campaign Gives Texting While Driving a Thumbs Down

Allstate Insurance has created a public awareness campaign, "X the TXT: Thumbs Up to the Safest Holiday Ever!", to encourage teens and their families to not text while driving.  To spread the word, Allstate has turned to Facebook, using the "Cause" application to promote this safety campaign.
